Alicia Bogard (owner of Soothe) started her formal education in Massage Therapy in 2006 while living in Encinitas, CA and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Iowa at the beginning of 2017.  She has been certified as a Holistic Life Coach since 2012 from the Spencer Institute out of San Diego, CA.  Alicia has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2016 and also has a National Provider Identifier number for those looking to receive massage as prescribed by a physician.  Alicia also started training in Reiki in 2016 and became certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2018, and she became a certified Hypnotherapist in 2019. Alicia completed her training as a Yoga instructor and received a diploma in 2020. Most recently, Alicia became double certified in Lymphatic Drainage in 2023 (although her training started in 2017).
